Charlotte Harbor Destination Earns 100 Million Impressions

February 26th, 2015

AboveWater Public Relations and Marketing uses to measure editorial impressions from the many articles written about the destination. Travel writers, bloggers, reporters, TV producers and editors from such media outlets as USA Today, Huffington Post, New York Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, Florida Weekly, AAA Going Places, jetsettersblog,, and Bay News 9 in Tampa have visited the destination for group or individual familiarization trips at our invitation or on their own and generated more than 100 million impressions among their readers and viewers.

Articles appear in both print and online magazines and newspapers or in blog posts written by influential writers. They can reach multitudes of potential visitors. Freelance writers write for many different publications over a period of time. After they leave the destination, invited writers continue to research angles and places to publish new stories. Articles appear two or even three years later. Many writers, hosted by Charlotte County, Florida Visitor and Convention Bureau in the region, often call to ask for updates, which we and our clients provide. In fact, Karla Aguilar who writes is one of our most prolific bloggers. She loved the area and continues to post news.

All of these efforts drive greater awareness of Charlotte Harbor & The Gulf Islands as a fun and interesting Florida destination to visit.
